The Sustainable Development Impact society believes in collective and inclusive action for efficient results.   Sustainable development is   the most important challenge of our generation, successful sustainable development requires dynamic and inclusive strategic partnerships that involve a variety of stakeholders. The society works to develop partnerships that create shared opportunities and leverage on partners’ added value, to support our mission by inclusively engaging all stake holders in the quest towards achieving Sustainable Development. Our strategic partnerships aim to achieve a conducive environment, innovation, resource mobilisation and  Impact.


The Society  engages and seeks to engage in collaborations with stakeholders including the business sector, civil society, academia and scientific institutions, foundations, international development agencies, as well as individuals and initiatives to make every partnership unique, valuable and ensure support to SDI and it's member's initiatives.  Our various strategic partnerships feature;

International Development Agencies they play a significant role in representing the mission and vision of the society, sustainable development requires collective and inclusive global action.

Academia and scientific institutions they are key in the advancement of the society and its member's  by providing knowledge, innovation and skills to support its sustainability initiatives.
Civil Society Organizations include a range of formal or informal stakeholders, such as International and national non-governmental organizations, advocacy groups, trade unions, women's groups, community-based organizations, philanthropic foundations, faith-based organizations and professional voluntary associations.

Philanthropic foundations - support the creation of an enabling environment and are key source of additional funding and can support the visibility of SDI and it's members  work.

High Net Worth Individuals can provide resources to the socety, as well as influence opinions and trends and speak in support of the Organization’s mission and vision. They are also key in influencing a sense of prestige in becoming more sustainable.

Individuals can facilitate a conducive environment for SDI's agenda and participate in fundraising initiatives.

Media Partners play a key publicity role  showcasing our mission, our members, our initiatives and adding credibility to both our efforts and efforts of the media houses in advancing sustainable development.

Connect4Climate is the flagship global partnership program of the Communication for Climate Change Multi-Donor Trust Fund (MDTF) at the World Bank Group working to communicate climate change. It is supported by the Italian Ministry of Environment, Land and Sea, the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development and the World Bank Group, along with over 500 partners from civil society, media networks, international organizations, academic institutions, youth groups and the private sector.
